Alex Schaefer aka .reEto was born on July, 1st 1973 in Traunstein. He is a german Psychedelic & PC enthusiast, producer, coder & mastering engineer. .reEto grew up in Traunstein & Munich, and did his first steps in music with the C64 computer. Later he learned coding on Amiga, and did some really cool stuff for the demoscene. He joined Farbrausch. LifeAt the end of the 80ies Alex started as a DJ, was resident at the old "Munich Airport Party Zone", resident at "Temple Club" and had a lot of gigs in Germany & Austria CaveClub. He played at the Mayday and was a long time fundamental part of the Partysan Munich & the Loveparade during some years. He has a lot of gigs at the Street Parade Zurich/Swiss. He was really a hard fighter for the old "partysanen Munich", and plays often at the old Natraj Temple (Alabamagelände München). He was also a part of the Ultraworld Team that organized many underground Party in Germany. At the middle of the 90ies he changed his DJ name 6 times after some label releases. At the end of 90ies Alex was lack of producing & djing, and started his mastering education. In 2003 he started coding his software for mixing, called "Fantom" which was a complete mixing & liveact solution for WIN, and he wrote a lot of VST processors for mastering. He started his series for testing the software called .hiB (high implemented Betatest), which are unique series with the help of many acts, and a lot of .reEto‘s unreleased stuff. By straight using his own postProd materials for music, every .reEto-mastered music has his own "Sound". You often hear that mastering style on many compilations and trance- & psychadelic releases.
