oCeLoT aka Aaron Peacock began producing psychedelic electronic music in 1993. He had some not-very-famous releases (as Aaron Peacock ) in 1995 and 1996 on Journees records (hey it was vinyl at least). There was a very obscure release in 1998 as Aaron Peacock called "Heffalumps" on Bare Bones Records.
Otherwise, the project we now know as oCeLoT was launched in the year 2000, with early releases on Ceiba Records "Language of Light 3"
Today after playing in more than 45 countries and after 7 albums (1 of chillout "one" on Avatar) and over 80 singles released, there is starting to be an awareness of the other possibilities outside strict stylistic rules. Aaron never was very good at following rules. He creates everything from full-power night-time psychedelic trance to full-power morningpsychedelic trance, to softer progressive sounds, to clean minimal techno to chill out and ambient and even rippin' drum-and-bass music!
This versatility has not yet been understood by the general music public and he is looking for a new way to reach all of the people at one time... For the moment you will find him mostly playing the full-power psy on parties and festivals the world over. You may have seen him on Boom2008, Ozora 2009 & 7, FullMoonFestival 2005 & 6, Freedom Festival 2009, Transylvania Calling 2007 & 9, Soulclipse Turkey 2006, or others. Look for genre-smashing breakthroughs in the next years that bring aaron's distinct productions style to another level.
