The "Alsterelfe" Thing

Originally, the name "Alsterelfe" was given to her by a juggler, met on an open air festival at the beginning of the new millenium. It was said that she was looking like an elve with that poi and as was heard, that she was from Hamburg, the word "Alsterelfe" was found. It originally came up on jest - but it was fun and so she named her firepoi project like this. You can watch her on several open air festivals - especially at the VuuV-Festival where she performs for several years right now. About 11i

Under the german short term 11i ('Elfi') she is a muse and an inspired musician, interpreting the creations of psychedelic trance her own and very special way within her mixes and dj-sets as '11i' during the latest seasons. She preferes playing beneath sun and stars, tuning in with the finest ambient creations and chillgressive styleZ and dropping out with deep melodic FullOn psychedelic trance. What 11i does is mood creation in sounds - a special kind of mixing and her all-time credo is: it all depends on the tension. Her sets invite to an audiophile trip all around the globe and through outer space on a journey into one's inner depth.

After a long-time classical music education, playing the flute, the piano, keyboard, electric guitar and studio recordings with the famous 'Funcoustic' chorus in the 90's she nowadays loves tuning in sounds with those instruments, creating sort of a symphony within her ChillOut sets. When playing FullOn stylez, she always grants that special 'kick in the ass' and 'quirling the brain' to the audience by setting high value on pumping and melodic arrangements.
