there is a really bad recursivity in here... and we don't have the power to edit this page and fix it... could someone please make it ok? why are the genres placed in the events category? and when i click on the page 'parties' it brings me back to the page 'events' we need to put the genres of music and the individual parties in two defined and separate categories.

i am not sure to get what you mean. for us there is no difference between events and parties ..

as for the genres, some people are looking for an event/party in a special genre, thats why we have them here. that some of the parties are in more than just one genre is based on the fact, that they are tagged with more than one genre on http://goabase.com
