DJ Daksinamurti is Till Kuhn from Marburg, Germany where he studies cultural anthropology. His reason to become a DJ was to spread his love for psychedelic music. He was quite unhappy with the musical situation at the time he started DJing because most of the music that was played was monotonous and emotionless. This was the reason why he decided to kick up some dust himself and share his passion for the type of music he first encountered in Goa, India in the 90s. So far Daksi represented Organicrec and Mindfunk Music. In 2005 he joined Shiva Space Technology. He was also involved in the Indian label Rudrakshrecords as Co-Manager and A & R. 2007 Till joined the South African label Nexus Media which is owned by Shift and Slug. He is also involved in the Project Marburg Virus which organises parties in his hometown Marburg. Daksi's recipe for the dancefloor is a journey through powerful nighttime / twilight psychedelic trance with a strong groove, powerful melodies, psychedelic atmospheric soundscapes and which is always full of surprises. Daksi also enjoys playing well produced, soulful and intelligent morning/daytime sound with a touch of the oldschool vibe. Appearence
