Slovakian psy-trance scene could be divided into three larger parts according to geographical regions. Each part has several crews organizing in and outdoor events. The scene remain strongest in western and central part of the country.

Organizations

Among the most active is a crew called Spectral Sound based in Nitra. Ellisdee and Gyrro activated themselves in 2003 with the party called Awakening that greatly echoed among people. They have decided to continue in organizing club events and later on in 2006 founded a nice tradition of Mystika open air festival, where artists like Cosmosis and Electric Universe performed.

Among organizing psy-trance events they design their own decorations and make their own trance-clothing as well as produce music. Another quite active tribe in this part of Slovakia in Piestany is Qadradelic Society since 2003, organizing in and outdoor events like Summer Gathering or Journey to Wonderland.

Western part of Slovakia is considered to be quite active and many crews would deserve to be mentioned like Radical Karma Crew or Planet Blue Society but also the young ones trying to attract community with new projects.

Central part of the country has always played important role as to the scene development and fresh ideas. Coining usual word of psy and name of tiny village, near Brezno, Valaska we get Psyalaska representing formerly chill organizers and deco artists. Since 2004 each year guys organize outdoor event at Chvatimech hill. Not to omit dynamic Space Attack crew shifting cards in this region.

Since 2006 Bizzare project took over organization of Hill Top festival and introduced artists like CPU, Space Tribe, Digital Talk, Absolum, Black and White and many others to Slovak psy community. It permanently cooperates with respected artists like Zion, Galactika or DJ Dica.

Artists

Among individual producers it wouldn’t be fair to omit artists who either have already released their projects like Cosmo performing worldwide or those waiting to be discovered also abroad such as Rahatmahatix, Ray Subject, Gyrro are probably best representatives of mostly full-on Slovak scene.
