History of the Scene
The scene is still going strong and picking up with great pace. The Psynthesis crew have now diversified and are organising events at the number 1 venue in Dubai - Chi, The Lodge. This new venture is named PSY:FI derived from Psyence Fiction. They aim to continue to spread good vibes through art and music in Dubai. They also intend to land international acts for LIVE or dj sets.
In regards to putting UAE / Dubai on the map of psytrance, Sanathana has been actively involved in various projects, putting in a lot of hard work and effort into this. Already been linked with major labels across the globe, being featured as Artist of the Month, an interview in a local events magazine and more...
The overall scene is quiet but private parties, gatherings and outdoor activities are on the rise.
Overview About the Upcoming Year
New events lined up in the form of Psyence Fiction and Ravelations. A lot more releases by Sanathana on various labels across the globe. Samana Records still is the only label to make it major in the region.
Parties
- PSYENCE FICTION - PSY:FI and the Ravelations crew have a lot of events / parties lined up for 2011.

The same as last year but with more releases and actually putting UAE on the map of psytrance.
Labels
Samana Records still remains the only label to come out of Dubai to make it major in the industry. They have more releases lined up towards the mid / end of 2011.
Shops (music, deco, fashion, chillin and clubing)
